Platform M Studio (session extension)

By booking a session at PlatformM, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding potential penalties for damages or breaches of studio policies.

1. Studio Manager’s Discretion: The studio manager reserves the right to deduct up to the total amount of the rental fee for the paid session in the event of damage to studio equipment, property, or failure to comply with studio policies.
2. Payment Structure: 90% of your total booking fee will be charged upon check out, and the remaining 10% will be charged upon the termination of your session. This structure allows us to assess the condition of the studio and address any potential damages or violations of policy.
3. Damage Scenarios:
   • Equipment Damage: Any damage to studio equipment, such as microphones, instruments, computers, or audio interfaces, due to negligence or misuse, will result in a deduction from the final fee to cover repair or replacement costs.
   • Property Damage: Damage to studio property (walls, furniture, flooring, etc.) will result in a deduction from your booking fee, based on the extent of the damage and repair costs.
   • Cleanliness Issues: Failure to leave the studio in a clean and orderly condition, including food spills, littering, or improper equipment handling, will incur cleaning or repair fees deducted from the remaining 1% payment.
   • Noise Violations: Any disturbance or violation of noise regulations that results in complaints or fines will lead to a deduction from the booking fee.
   • Breach of Studio Policies: Violations of our studio policies, such as unauthorized equipment use, extended time without prior agreement, or late cancellations, may result in further deductions from your final fee.
4. Hold on Funds: A certain amount of funds will be placed on hold as a security deposit before your session. This amount will be communicated during booking and will be used to cover any potential damages or violations. After your session, any necessary deductions will be made from this hold, and the remaining funds will be refunded or charged as applicable.
5. Acknowledgement: By confirming your booking, you agree to these terms and accept responsibility for any damages or policy breaches. The studio manager has the discretion to apply penalties and deduct fees as required to cover repair, replacement, or penalties.
